DJ Bart’s passion, talent & dedication had seen him forge a career from playing music and has made valued contribution for club culture in the far north with residencies @ all major nightclubs and bars in Cairns and Port Douglas.
Starting his career DJing and promoting parties at the Cairns Hilton, DJ Bart has built a solid reputation for playing good quality music and moving dance floors. Over the years Bart has become a well known face in Cairns nightclubs. Always staying ahead of the game, Bart has had the ability to create and establish a following at any venue he resides. Bart has brought numerous interstate and international DJs to Cairns and Port Douglas as well as supporting local DJs to create club nights that rival those in the southern cities.
Appreciation of DJ Bart’s dedication to his trade was shown in the form of Best Dance DJ awarded to Bart @ the first annual Electropica Music Awards held at the Reef casino, and has since become the Cairns Post Hit Awards. The awards are decided by an internet poll and voted for by the local community, best dance DJ being a coveted and celebrated award. DJ Bart is an active promoter of dance music events for many years, paving the way for himself and other like minded DJs to find work playing electronic music in Cairns & Port Douglas night spots.
More recently DJ Bart has been producing and promoting numerous events under the banner of Electric Dreams, that includes Neon Niights & the very successful Full Moon Parties, 1-2 & 3 at marina mirage Port Douglas & NYE White Party Marina Mirage 13/14.
It is a testament to Barts love for his work & versatility that has seen him work as a professional DJ in the most popular clubs, bars and off site events as a full time profession for just over 20 years, literally playing thousands of gigs. For Bart playing music has been a life choice.
Reading a crowd is a gift of Barts, and with a growing list of club nights, major events, weddings, corporate and private events under his belt, he can please the room no matter the diversity of tastes.

Bart was the DJ for our wedding in July this year, and it was a terrific experience. I researched into multiple dj’s around the place, but I deliberately chose Bart as he knows music, he has a lot of experience in many different genre’s of music, and has DJ’ed at some big clubs around the world which was a cool thing for us. Bart was awesome in accommodating our music requirements for the night. Bart is a real pro, he even met with me multiple times prior to the wedding and called me on the days before just to make sure everything was in order.
