I have been in Port Douglas over 35 years, I moved here when I was in High School.

1st Floor 24 Wharf st Port Douglas, Overlooking St Mary’s By the Sea with panoramic views of Anzac Park and the Coral Sea.

For Weddings we have plenty of space with an open verandah where the wedding party, family and friends can sit and relax with a gorgeous view of St Mary’s church and the ocean. Everyone is welcome to bring their champagne and nibbles to enjoy. Also we have a separate private room with hanging space and a full length mirror where brides and bridesmaids are welcome to get ready for their special day.
What’s the best tip you could give a bride deciding on hair/ makeup?
Think of the style of your dress and wedding theme. If the wedding is very formal it would look a bit out of place to have beachy curls.
Makeup is up to the bride, depending on how comfortable you are with wearing makeup ( if you don’t usually wear makeup it’s best to go with a natural look )
Last of all trust your makeup artist and hairdresser, if you throw some ideas around they will tell you which will work best and their knowledge of products to be used.
Which celeb look are you loving at the moment?
Michelle – I love Foo from Lmfao, the fro definitely works for him
Katie – I’m loving Helen Mirren and her pastel pink, she is such a confident woman and a beautiful role model.
