Port Douglas Wedding Lounge
21-23 Warner Street Port Douglas
The town of Port Douglas runs along a strip of land between the Coral Sea to the east and Dickson Inlet to the West. One of the towns major appeals is that everywhere is close to the beach, and a car is not always needed.
A well signed roundabout leads you onto Port Douglas Rd, and form there it is a pleasant drive of less than 10 minutes into the business hub of Macrossan Street. Here you will find most of the shops and restaurants plus a good number of hotels and holiday apartments.
Nearby is Peppers Beach Club, which combines a stunning resort pool area with close proximity to Macrossan street.
Whilst many choose to stay close to the action, the Four Mile Beach area is also popular and a beautiful spot to base your stay. The Four Mile area has a nice selection of holiday houses, plus the ‘Sea Temple’ resort by Pullman.
In between is one of the coolest spots to stay, the QT resort. This freshly decked out resort has a great vibe and has rapidly become one of the locals favourites. The ‘Estillo Bar’ in QT hosts bands and DJ’s on a regular basis and is a great spot to hang out.
For this heading out to the reef, the fleet of reef boats leaves the marina on Wharf Street, a short walk from Macrossan street. The marina complex is worth a look regardless, as it also contains a number of restaurants and shops, including Lure Restaurant which is a popular wedding reception venue on the marina boardwalk.
Wedding ceremony locations in Port Douglas include the both ends of Four Mile Beach, Rex Smeal Park and Little Cove, St Marys by the Sea plus a number of other spots that can be used via resorts and holiday accommodation. Get in touch with us to find out what will suit your needs.
The Wedding Lounge is located near the corner of Warner and Grant Streets, just down from the middle of Macrossan street.
