Getting There: Port Douglas is about an hour north of Cairns – airport transfers can be arranged with a number of companies, we recommend Exemplar, or hire cars are available at the Airport. If you would prefer to hire a car in Port Douglas that is possible also.

Weather in Port Douglas: September is usually a beautiful time of year in Far North QLD, however outdoors during the middle of the day can be hot. Bring a hat and sunglasses or perhaps a parasol 🙂 Check out this link for more about likely patterns.

Reef trip, September 28:
Discounted rate for our guests: A number of boats travel to the reef for Day trips, and there is also the option of some half day trips as well. Please note that if you choose to do the reef trip on the Thursday and then the sunset sail, simply transfer from the reef boat to the sailing catamaran on returning to the Marina at 4.30pm.
